APPLICATIONS & CONSTRUCTION

Woven clothing labels for garment branding and accessories

Neck & interior brand labels

Provide the exact brand wording and placement. Check lettering, edge feel and how the label sits against the garment or wearer.

Side-seam & folded labels

Show which parts remain visible after sewing. Include fold direction and seam allowance so the logo is not hidden in the seam.

Exterior apparel & accessory labels

Share the intended attachment area and finished appearance. Confirm whether a flat cut or folded construction best suits the placement.

For a raised decorative badge rather than a garment label, review embroidered patches. A woven clothing label is not interchangeable with a woven patch.

Specifications to include in your quotation

Exact text & woven artwork
Supply the final wording, logo and colour references. Check the smallest letters at actual size; woven construction still has practical detail limits.
Visible and total cut size
Specify both the visible face and total cut dimensions. End folds, centre folds and sewing allowances change the material needed beyond the visible logo.
Fold & sewing direction
Mark fold positions and the edges that will be sewn. A dimensioned drawing avoids confusion about logo orientation and the area available for stitching.
Attachment & edge feel
Sew-on and no-backing preferences are available above. Other attachment requests need review. Check the finished edges and feel against the intended garment.

What to check on your approval sample

Check wording, logo orientation, smallest text and colours at actual size. Measure the visible face, total cut size and folds, then confirm edge feel and sewing allowance on the garment.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Questions buyers ask.

Prepare a clearer brief before sampling and production.
Is woven label size the visible size or the total cut size?

Specify both when folds or sewing allowances are required. A centre fold or end folds can make the total cut size different from the visible face. Confirm the dimension drawing and attachment route before sample approval.

What should I send for a quotation?

Send your artwork or reference, quantity, finished width and height, intended application and required delivery date. If you are unsure about the backing, include a photo or description of the garment or surface.

Can I start with a sketch or reference image?

Yes. A sketch or reference is a useful starting point. The artwork and construction details need to be reviewed before a production quotation and sample plan are confirmed.

How are minimum quantity and lead times confirmed?

MOQ, sample timing and bulk timing depend on the design, construction, size and quantity. Confirm these in the quotation and agree the production schedule after sample approval.

Which backing should I choose?

Share how the patch will be attached and used. Heat application, sewing, removable attachment and adhesive placement have different requirements. Garment compatibility and attachment details should be confirmed before production.

What needs approval before bulk production?

Confirm the artwork, dimensions, colours, material, edge finish, backing and sample requirements. Record the approved details together with quantity, packing requirements and the agreed delivery schedule.
